Step into the enchanting realm of the 25th annual KVMR Celtic Festival and Marketplace, Northern California’s premier gathering of Celtic music, heritage, and tradition at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, CA.
Multiple curated stages feature world-class Celtic musicians, regional artists, and Celtic Sessions players.
Experience a unique cultural immersion into the Celtic diaspora through Living History encampments combined with a full-scale music festival nestled amongst the picturesque Ponderosa Pines.
The festival includes an authentic Celtic Marketplace, exceptional dining on regional and ethnic specialties, living history encampments, animal exhibits and demonstrations, classes, dance, crafts, athletic games, parades, storytelling, skits, and an extensive children’s area. The Festival is the main fundraising event of the year for KVMR Community Radio which operates as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) entity. Held in the early fall in 2023, the festival regularly draws over 7,000 attendees for the two days, and the promotional outreach extends throughout KVMR’s listening area, including a worldwide live streaming broadcast over the internet through iTunes and the KVMR website during the festival.
